Important Travel Advisory

Flight Changes and Cancellations
Please note that any changes to flight dates, sectors, or timing will incur additional airline fees. Re-scheduled or re-issued tickets are subject to 100% cancellation fees and are non-refundable.

Weather-Related Flight Considerations
Paro International Airport operates under visual flight rules, requiring optimal visibility and clear weather conditions for takeoff and landing. We strongly recommend:

  • Building flexibility into your travel schedule
  • Allowing buffer time between connecting flights
  • Being prepared for potential weather-related delays or changes

Seasonal Travel Considerations
During monsoon season (typically June-September):

  • Flight delays and cancellations are more frequent
  • Road travel may be affected by temporary blockages, particularly in central and eastern Bhutan
  • Journey times may need to be adjusted

Rest assured that in any unexpected situations, our team will work diligently to find the best possible solutions and ensure your comfort and safety throughout your stay in Bhutan.
