Itinerary

  • Day 1: Paro - Thimphu

    Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you’ll meet your guide and embark on a scenic drive to Bhutan’s capital city, Thimphu. The city, situated between elevations of 2,248 meters (7,375 feet) and 2,648 meters (8,688 feet), offers a blend of modernity and Bhutanese tradition. Check in to your hotel and enjoy leisure time.

  • Day 2: Thimphu - Thinleygang - Punakha

    After an early breakfast, journey to the Dochula Pass at 3,100 meters (10,200 feet) for panoramic Himalayan views. Visit the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, a temple honoring the Fourth King, and explore the ‘Divine Madman Trail’ associated with Drupka Kuenley. Enjoy a traditional Bhutanese lunch in Thinleygang village before transferring to Punakha for relaxation.

  • Day 3: Punakha

    Visit Nalanda Monastery, interact with monks, and transfer to Sew Drangsa to join the Trans Bhutan Trail. Descend to Punakha Dzong, tour the fortress, and explore Punakha town. Learn about Bhutanese culture and enjoy dinner at your hotel.

  • Day 4: Punakha - Pelela - Rukubji - Gangtey

    Head to Gangtey, a habitat for Black Necked Cranes. En route, stop at Pelela Pass for crafts and join the Trans Bhutan Trail. Visit Rukubji village, a unique temple, and learn about the local language. Explore Gangtey Gonpa and relax at your hotel.

  • Day 5: Gangtey - Paro

    Return to Paro, with a lunch stop en route. Explore Ta Dzong, Bhutan’s National Museum, and Paro Rinpung Dzong, a historic fortress. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

  • Day 6: Paro

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your international departure flight.
